Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) 6505.TW has kickstarted its November spot sales for 10 ppm sulphur gasoil via a sales tender, three sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.

The refiner is looking to sell at least one 300,000-barrel cargo for loading between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28, they added.

The tender closes on Oct. 4 with same day validity.

The sales volume for November slightly down compared with October on some stocking up of inventories ahead of the refiner’s planned refinery maintenance, one of the sources added.

October spot cargoes were sold by FPCC at a premium to Singapore quotes, Reuters records showed.

The company typically does not comment on commercial matters.
