Black Sea CPC Blend oil exports in April were at 1.6 million barrels per day, or 6.093 million metric tons, down from 1.7 million bpd in March, two sources familiar with the data said on Thursday.
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which exports Kazakhstan and Russia’s oil from the Black Sea, does not comment on its operational results.
According to sources, April shipments comprise 5.523 million tons of Kazakhstan-originated oil from 5.942 million in March, and 0.570 million tons originated from Russia, compared to 0.660 million tons in March.
CPC Blend oil exports were set at 1.5 million bpd, or about 6 million metric tons, for May, two industry sources said previously.
Shareholders in the CPC include U.S. majors Chevron and Exxon Mobil, as well as the Russian state, Russian firm Lukoil and Kazakh state company Kazmunaigaz.
