Net4, a UK-based technology service provider, has partnered with Megh Computing, a US based provider of video analytics solutions, to provide real time streaming analytics for smarter workplaces. Net4 and Megh have teamed up to deploy smart solutions within buildings, warehouses, ports and other high-risk areas. Delivered through pre-packaged sets of video analytics functions, Net4.Vision provides valuable insight to Net4’s customers using both new and existing camera networks.

The smart industry analytics pack extends Net4’s capability in ports and other industrial settings, with a clear focus on operational safety, with a number of its clients already looking to trial Net4.Vision within their organization.
Alongside this, Net4 has made available its health & safety solution that focuses on increasing safety in the workplace and dovetails with its worker safety wearable solution. Accidents in the workplace not only cost money and impact operations but they also affect staff, visitors, and customers alike. The Net4 solution automatically monitors key areas for hazards such as collisions and obstructions, providing alerts and improving safety management.
Net4.Vision is model agnostic, enabling the platform to handle off the shelf, bespoke and 3rd party models to address the new challenges in managing our buildings and workplaces.
It is important for businesses and building owners to understand the changing use of workspaces. Net4’s solution provides detailed insights into workplace utilization, driving optimization and more efficient building usage. The Net4.Vision solution provides a flexible platform that enables analytics at scale across multiple sites and is implemented using Megh’ advanced real-time streaming analytics platform. The platform is built on Open Analytics principles of open customization, open choice and open integration. It enables a wide variety of analytic models to be deployed across a wide range of industries and use cases. Net4.Vision can be used with both new and existing video cameras, extending the life and increasing the value provided by an organization’s existing cameras.

Alex Taylor, Net4’s CEO said, “We are excited to partner with the Megh Computing team to provide next generation analytic solutions now to our customers. Megh’s video analytics platform is an ideal fit, supporting our AWS Wavelength and 5G network offering that enables our customers to reduce the cost of ownership of video analytics solutions whilst simultaneously enabling a scale-on-demand capability.”

Prabhat K Gupta, Megh Computing’s CEO said, “Net4 is a leader in providing IoT solutions for enterprises & system integrators. Megh is proud to be partnering with Net4 to deliver our platform supporting advanced video analytics use cases for various verticals to enterprises and other end users.”

Net4.Vision can be deployed on multiple architectures & platform types including lightweight on-site infrastructure, AWS Wavelength, AWS local zones and regions; or even a hybrid mixture.
