Independently held refined oil products stocks in storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub fell by 1.5% in the week to Thursday, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.
Total stocks stood at 5.73 million metric tons, their lowest since Feb. 22.
Gasoline stocks fell by nearly 6% to about 1.01 million metric tons, as transatlantic exports, particularly to the United States, rose, Insight Global’s Lars van Wageningen said.
Gasoil stocks rose nearly 3% on the week to 2.07 million tons on rising imports, though demand from inland locations was strong, Wageningen said.
Jet stocks fell 5% on the week to 882,000 tons, largely because of the summer peak air travel demand season according to van Wageningen.
