North Sea crude differentials were steady on Friday with Forties offered higher in the Platts window and no discussions on other grades.
MAY PROGRAMMES
* Supply of the five North Sea crude oil grades underpinning the dated Brent benchmark will average about 587,000 barrels per day in May, compared with 560,000 bpd in April, loading programmes showed on Friday.
PLATTS WINDOW
* Indications are free on board (FOB) unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).
* No deals, a trade source said.
* Forties: Unipec withdrew an offer for April 23-27 at dated Brent plus $1.85 on a CIF Rotterdam basis, equal to about dated Brent plus 86 cents on an FOB basis according to Reuters calculations.
* This was above Thursday’s market value so did not change the Forties assessment.
* There were no new price discussions for any other grades.
