South Korea’s SK Energy is continuing to offer prompt end-July loading 10ppm sulphur gasoil, after selling at least eight cargoes in the past two weeks, three sources with direct knowledge of the matter said on Thursday.
The oil major is offering two 300,000-barrel cargoes loading on July 19-21 and July 25-27 via a tender that closes on July 4 with same-day validity, they added.
The sources said earlier cargoes were mostly sold at an average discount of $1.50 a barrel.
If successful, the refiner will sell around 10 300,000-barrel cargoes for July loading, with the total number of cargoes sold by South Korean refiners to be 15-16, Reuters records showed.
This compares with around 16 cargoes sold for July loading last month.
