Leading Ukrainian Black Sea ports restricted marine pilot operations on Thursday due to military drills in the region, the Ukrainian sea port authority said.

The restrictions apply to the ports of Odessa region, Mykolayiv and Kherson, it said.

The authority did not say how long the restrictions would last.

Ukraine is a major grain producer and exported 57 million tonnes of grain in the 2019/20 season.
