Oil Cargoes: Offers abound in Chinese demand lull

Majors had many cargoes on offer on Friday but appetite remained thin owing to holidays in China.

Total was offering Angolan Pazflor at dated Brent minus 80 cents, Congolese Djeno at dated Brent minus $3.50 and Nigerian Forcados at dated Brent plus $6.50 a barrel.

Exxon Mobil was offering a variety of Angolan and Nigerian grades: Mostarda at dated Brent minus $2.80, Erha at plus $6.00, Kissanje at plus 20 cents, Hungo at minus $1.50 and Mondo at minus $1.30 a barrel.

Uruguay’s ANCAP issued a buy tender for a March 26-30 arrival cargo. The tender closes on Feb. 2.

Maurel & Prom issued a sell tender for Rabi Light for March loading closing on Jan. 31.

Angola’s state firm Sonangol still had three March spot cargoes on offer: Mostarda, Kissanje and Girassol at dated Brent minus $2.80, plus 40 cents and plus $1.70 respectively.
