Port ships 200 millionth tonne of oil
Thursday, June 28, 2018, Kozmino, Russia

On 8 June 2018, the volume of Russian oil exported from Kozmino Port hit the mark of 200 million tonnes since the Eastern Siberia–Pacific Ocean pipeline system started operating in December 2009…

…Over the five months of this year, the Far Eastern terminal of Transneft exported 12.4 million tonnes of ESPO grade oil to countries of Asia and the Pacific. The recipients include China with 10.1 million tonnes (81.5%), Japan with 1.3 million tonnes (10.5%), Malaysia with 0.4 million tonnes (3.2%), South Korea and Singapore with 0.3 million tonnes each (2.4%).

The increasing freight turnover at Transneft Kozmino Port proves the growing demand for Russian oil in Asian countries…
